A woman occupies a special status and importance in the society from ancient times. Allah first produced Adam and then Eve as his companion. Eve was the first woman of the world. Since then a woman has been individually treated in various civilizations. In some cases, she enjoyed wide freedom while in others; she was confined to homes only. |

 Kashmiri embroidery or kashida is colourful and beautiful as Kashmir itself. Embroiders often draw inspiration from the beautiful nature around. The colours the motifs of flowers, creepers and chinar leaves, mango etc. are the most common ones. The whole pattern is created using one or two embroidery stitch styles.
Process and Stitches
The base cloth whether wool or cotton, is generally white or crème or other similar shades. Pastel colors are also often used. The craftsmen use the color shades often blending with the background. Thread colors are florals seen around.

 The Wazwan van arrived about 1. I was very excited to experience the feast everyone had been making such a fuss about, with this guest control law. Two Waza chefs began dragging a massive copper pot along to the back of the house. I figured this contained the rice. More pots were dragged along the floor by pretty dirty looking Waza chefs. It seemed an awful lot of food. After an hour there was a queue of more copper pots of different shapes but all uniformly large, waiting to sit on the big fire the supremely grubby head waza was stoking with a large pole. I took photos.
